Duchess Satin fabric is a highly lustrous, smooth, very finely woven heavy non stretch satin. It has a very subtle sheen that is classic and elegant and very different in appearance to most satins which generally have a high gloss finish. It is often used for making wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, evening wear.
Supplier suggests washing at 30 degrees. please allow for shrinkage and to be safe, do a tester first. If in doubt we recommend specialist dry clean
