Embellished Fabric Boxes: Two-session Class, Saturdays Oct. 3 & 24

EMBELLISHED FABRIC BOXES

Saturday, Oct. 3, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm AND Saturday, Oct. 24, 10:30 am to 4:30 pm

Instructor: Larkin Van Horn

This two-part class will take you through the steps to create a sturdy fabric-covered box to store personal treasures or give as a gift to a special friend. Part 1 will focus on the structural aspects of the project. In Part 2, we will explore the possibilities of collage and embellishing the box while in progress, as well as the slight adjustments needed for 3-D additions. Students will end up with two boxes.

YOUR SEWING MACHINE NEEDS TO BE CAPABLE OF FREE MOTION STITCHING AND ABLE TO MAKE A SATIN STITCH.
