A NEW BABY – how wonderful! You will have so much fun sewing for that special baby. All it takes is a good pattern, a little fabric, a little time and love. It is fun to show off a baby with adorable outfits made by you. You can dress your baby any way you choose. It will not always be this way because in just a few years, they will have their own ideas as to what they wish to wear.
You can use a great variety of fabrics, appliqués, laces and other trims. It used to be that all little girls were dressed in pink and the boys in blue. This is no longer so. All types of fabrics and colors are now used for both boy and girl babies. Just remember to choose soft materials as babies have very soft, sensitive skin.
